As we step into the month of October the world turns PINK. It is Breast Cancer awareness month… Many of us get to remember those we have lost to the horrible disease and others have a chance to be thankful because they are or know one of the survivors.
Today, when I am more aware of the world around us, the food we eat, and how it gets produced makes me wonder if the big Cancer foundations getting millions of dollars every year to research really are hitting the nail on the head? I don’t know the answer to this so I am by no means looking down on them, but I have to ask, that is simply in my nature.
Are these big foundations really looking at the start of our health? Do they look at the ground we are getting ALL of our food from? Is the ground nutritious enough, both for the animal’s grass and for the fruits and vegetables we eat? Do the animals eat the nutritious rich grass so their meat is nutritious? Isn’t it there it starts? With natural, nutritious food to give life to our bodies and souls?
Isn’t it so that, as a society in whole, we are eating further and further away from nature? Colorful boxes, zero fat, high fructose corn syrup, etc, etc.. and when we do eat what we feel is healthy and natural we don’t realize that additives, chemicals, heat processes, and toxins have been added to the mix; completely depriving the product of the nutrients or made it completely un-digestable (if that’s a word) for our systems? Added vitamins and minerals gets added to make a product look healthier without mentioning that the body cannot digest synthetic hormones without stealing the ‘missing parts’ from somewhere else in the body… and with repetition of this synthetic nutrition the body will instead be deprived than nourished.
As the 1931 Nobel Prize winner in Medicine, Otto Warburg, wrote:
“There is no disease whose prime cause is better known than cancer, it is the replacement of oxygen in normal body cells by a fermentation of sugar. How long prevention will be avoided depends on how long the prophets of agnosticism will succeed in inhibiting the application of scientific knowledge in the cancer field. In the meantime millions must die of cancer unnecessarily...” (Taken from the documentary: Sweet Suicide)
If this is true, and I believe it is, why are we walking a straight death via cancer with the food industry being the way it is today? Sugar is in almost EVERY product out there. Off course the answer is money… but really… is that all that matters? When you get down to the personal levels.. do we rather have wealth than health?
